Victoria Stamps, MA, JD

With a Master’s Degree, Law Degree and vast experience in the art of mediation and negotiation, Victoria brings to real estate a background not often found in Real Estate Agents. Focusing on the often forgotten ideal that real estate is a legal transaction, Victoria brings into the arena the all important “C.Y.A.” factor which not only protects her clients, but gives them an extreme advantage in the home-selling/home-buying arena.

Trained in historic real estate through the National Trust for Historic Preservation, Victoria specializes in Historic Properties, as well as Estates, Farms and Investment Properties.

Victoria has been quite busy the last few years. In 2007, she was named ERA Johnson & Thompson's Sales Leader and ranked in the top 5% for ERA Agents nationwide. Around that same time, Victoria transitioned from an independent agent to a Team Leader. Known as the "Stamps Collection," her sales team consisted of a Buyer's Agent, listing specialist, staging assistant and professional photographer which ensured her client's listings were marketed and shown in only their best light.

In January 2010, Victoria decided to make her team her own business. Stamps Realty, Inc. was born. It's this business model which provides Victoria's clients with only the highest of customer service.

A Little History

From 2002-2003, Victoria hired three real estate "professionals" to assist her family in the purchases and sales of three separate homes. It was during this time that she realized the less than stellar service she received was not uncommon. Unreturned phone calls, unprofessional behavior, and a lack of accountability made her passionate about her decision to enter the real estate market. She knew she could make the process of buying and selling a home effortless and FUN, while protecting her clients in the process! Victoria's goal was to give her clients the kind of service she expected for herself.

In 2003, Victoria and her husband decided to "flip" some houses. This venture proved to be an invaluable tool for her future business. While learning the intricacies of the construction process from the general contractor's perspective, she was also able to understand the implications of hiring superior subcontractors who actually "DID WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD DO." Invaluable experiences with "codes," plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, electrical contractors, floor refinishers, and landscapers taught her lessons she could pass on in her business.

Victoria, her husband Chuck (a stonemason specializing in custom stone, brick and tile), their son Carter, and Granddad, Ed Barlow live in Leipers Fork.

There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how Tori works.
